The Cumberland Moot at Byker has moved.

The new venue is The Chillingham, Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. NE6 5XL

After many years of the Cumberland's hospitality, its increasing popularity meant we had to search for a new home. Cozy fireside chats were no longer possible as the pub quiz spilled over from the bar into the lounge, even standing room could be difficult to find. Though alternate venues had been discussed many timesfinding somewhere everyone regarded as being suitable had proven difficult. 

The Chillingham is fairly quiet most Mondays, offers real ales, comfortable seats and is convenient for public transport, being close to several major bus routes and only a few minutes walk from the Chillingham Road metro station. The pub has a small car park and there is some adjcent street parking.

Now starting at 8.30pm there is a friendly group of regulars and new folk are always welcome
